How many Max iPhones have you seen in the wild? Not counting yours or any that you bought obviously.

I have only seen one that I know of.

Cellphones designs are not as unique as they once were, it is hard to tell them apart from a glance. So, I could have seen many more, but just not known it was an iPhone.

Designs might be ubiquitous, but I don’t think everyone associates identifying a phone with a ‘design’ as much as they do with a color today. For example, the iPhone XS is only offered in silver, Gold and space gray, where that’s easily more identifiable with the stainless bands, also, assuming the person is not using a case or a case that doesn’t conceal the entire phone.

I have seen more Xʀ’s than XS Maxes... however I see way more iPhone X(S) than anything else. I would assume that’s to do with the iPhone X having one more year than the rest... Of course I am assuming they’re X’s and not XS... they could just be a mixture of both lol...

To put things in perspective... Not only have I never seen a Max in the wild, I've never seen anyone anywhere (in this town) use a cell phone of any kind.
It's bizarre

I’ve seen one I think. You see quite a lot of X/XS but I have never seen an XR in the wild apart from mine

None, but I don’t look at peoples phones in public too much as they’ll think I’m mad, or going to steal it! Mostly see the X or XS in regards to the new designs, no idea which one it is you see as they look the same.

And like the post above I’ve never seen another XR, beginning to think I’m the only one with it! Apart from my nephew who got one for Christmas.

Other than mine so far I've seen one other one on an Air Canada flight in business class (space grey) and another in board room during a meeting (silver)...

See alot of X and XS. Only seen a couple of Max's. Glad to see alot of people use them without cases so they can enjoy the build and feel as intended.

Mainly see alot of XRs and Plus phones.

From what I hear three year contracts seem to be gaining in popularity now too, so these phones are suddenly more affordable. I think we’ll see more flagship devices in hands than we have for the past few years, but of course this might reduce it again in a couple of years. The buzz for having the latest smartphone isn’t what it was in 2010-14 so I think that plays a major part in why we aren’t always seeing these new devices in abundance.

I was under the impression that three year mobile phone contracts in the UK are banned by Ofcom, and recently Virgin Media tired to get around this by offering the handset and contract as separate and Ofcom has "warned them" whatever that means. So I don't think three year contracts are gaining in popularity as they don't exist.

I just checked with my carrier O2 and I can sign up today with a 36 month contract. I’ve seen them advertised on billboards this weekend too.

I know a few people I work with who have got 3 year contracts too.

They're an endangered specie, I don't see many in the wild.
All I see are iPhone 6's.

In Manhattan, I see a ton of Maxes everywhere; always mobile people with their mobile computers, makes sense. Decent number of XR as well.

I generally never use cases, because I really do appreciate the heft, weight and overall build of the iPhone in the hand. I think Apple does a great job with the ergonomics with the glass, stainless bands, everything really contours and meshes to the hand comfortably. I agree with your points made.

Not a one. But then I don't know many people who buy new phones regularly. Most people I know are still rocking iphone 6/7/8s

I have only seen once in Portugal.

People here always go for the cheaper iPhone.. I do see tons of XR and X.
