Depending on whether or not you count iChat AV as "meeting", I've met about a dozen, mostly in person. So I've got about 92,100 members left to meet.

I only know one person (an Apple Store employee) who's on MR, but I don't even know his screen name here. I'm sure I know more people here, but it's hard to say when almost no one uses their real name...

Have there ever been meetings of MR people in the NYC area?

1, it was at the apple store opening in Burlington MA, apparently i missed meeting jsw who just left; but strangely has a picture of me

We need a New England Meet up or maybe an NYC if i'm home from school
(BTW anyone part of the Boston Final Cut user group)

None, but there aren't too many Mac users here in the north woods. I will be at the Mall of America store tomorrow with the family if anyone wants to say hello.
Au Contraire my friend! I'm in Minnetonka, and I know there are at least a healthy dozen or so on here from the Twin Cities...

One. It was very nice, it made it very easy to start talking, after reading each other's posts for so long, and being part of the same online community. It was like we had lots of friends in common. :)

Since you rule out family (my girlfriend is a very sporadic poster here): None... that I know of...

The Mac users I know don't post here (as far as I know at least), and I've nor "recognized" any of the other few others with location Bergen.

I'm all alone... :p

One. Will be meeting up with them again next week when I travel to Denver.

I figured there would be more people in the Twin Cities, but since I live two hours away from there, I haven't had a chance to meet any of them.

The same 25-30 London MR darlings BV and dcv have mentioned.

Likewise... and here was me thinking that it was Londoners who were supposed to be anti-social, rude loners ;)

There are a few in the office who lurk occasionally around Keynote times although they haven't admitted to knowing who I am :D

When I wander through places like the Cockpit studios, there are a lot of the artists and designers with their Macs showing slideshows of their portfolios and I always wonder whether any of them are MR regulars or lurkers

I did see a grey metallic Renault 12 with an Apple sticker on it weaving down Chiswick High Street the other day, and wondered if it was one of our lot...
