How many switched over from android?

I've had my launch day note 2 for 2 years now. The 6+ will be my first iPhone although not my first apple product. I have a few iPads and a 4th gen iPod touch that I love so I'm well versed in the apple ecosystem. Can't wait till Friday!

I'm switching from an note 3, i initially switched from a 5s to note 3. Now I'm back to an iphone again.

From lg g2. I love android and ios and go back and forth. I had a 5s and HTC one last year.

For those that were Android and moving to IOS.....any best tips or best practices? I have been reading a lot, to figure out how I want to set up my apple accounts, storage etc. I have just a few questions as well.
~ If I purchased an Android app on Play, I would need to re-purchase that on IOS? (Minecraft, weather apps etc).
~Amazon apps (Free app of the day etc)- Is that only available on Android?
~Google Drive Storage- I can use this instead of icloud storage?

1. That is correct. Purchases do not transfer to iOS.
2. Google Drive available as an app however the iOS version does not allow editing any longer. Google removed editing capability a few months ago.

Your amazon question I am unsure on.

Amazon is Android only, it's a separate App Store that Apple won't let you have on your device
