How many times has a case 'saved' your iPhone?

In light of the other case thread, how many times has a case saved your phone? Or has a case ever failed you and broke your phone?


When I didn't have a case, dropped my iPhone 4, got some scratches on the back. When I did have a case, didn't drop it at all.

I don't have a case and have dropped my 4S a few times, no damage.

I dropped my iPhone 4, IN AN APPLE STORE, Looking at iPhone cases..Oh the irony.

But I had an Incase snap on, and it saved the iPhone, but the case well...snapped . New case is a Belkin Shield Micra.
