Though I've dropped it on only two occasions, others have dropped it even more, since I tend to lend it to nieces and nephews on a regular basis. They enjoy watching movies on a small portable device, (Kids these days!) so it is generally out of sight and out of reach during that entire time. I have no idea how it has survived their deviation from my "protect the iPhone at all costs mentality!"

I dropped it at least once every other day on either the hard floor at school or in parking lots. my biggest one was the taco bell parking lot. running out the door after changing into my game shorts, i had my regular shorts in my hand and phone flew out of my shorts and landed about 10 yards away from where i was. It totally ****ed up the back, but i sold it the other day for $350.. hellz yea

I've had a rubber case on it from day 1.
If I didn't have the rubber case I would have destroyed it by now. It is too slippery when naked for me to securely handle.
GET A CASE!

Yes - I've had one on mine as well since day one of getting my second iPhone. The first one had a blue-tinted screen issue, and was replaced. Days before getting to the Apple store though, the iPhone slipped out of my pocked while I was sitting, and landed face down on a concrete floor. The result was a hairline crack in the screen and a chip out of it on the very side where the chrome meets it.

My current one has had a few drops indoors on carpet, one in my truck out of my pocket and into the random-junk-holder of the door, and once inside, it vibrated its way off my of coffee table from an Alarm, onto my carpet and under my couch. Very interesting trying to hunt down the sounds of Marimba. :)

Knocks on wood....

No drops here, but it is early going yet (activated her June 16th).

Let's hope no drops ever, because the Sena case offers only so much protection.
