Traded it in to AT&T for $200, applied it to my bill. Easy peasy. Phone had issues anyway, glad I got that amount for it.

Quite the opposite. I got a great deal for a phone that wasn't worth nearly that in the condition it was in. Best offer I had gotten before was $145.

I was glad that the rep just made sure it was wiped clean and got the info off of it. Didn't care about the condition.

Keep in mind an iPhone 5 running iOS 6 will go much higher than one with 7 or above.

Whoa really? Wow that's awesome. So about 315 net with fees?

    ----------

Ok thanks for the heads up. I'll try to get 275 for it to 300 for it.

I sold my 32GB iPhone last week for £255 through a facebook group. It meant no fees and cash in hand on transfer.

As of a few days ago Best Buy showed a $240 trade-in (gift card) for my white AT&T 64GB. Mother-in-law's 4 is starting to crap out so I told her I'd sell it to her for $200.

Damn that's what I got! Probably won't get $400 for it but my 5 is mint.
