I got my new iPhone and I do love it!! I have the reception problems but other than that I love it. I put my old 3G 16 gig on craigslist Friday night and just sold it for $280.00 so I guess I did ok. It was jailbroken and unlocked with 3.1.2 on it. Also had the cracked version of MyWi on it so they could tether. They guy that bought it was not the brightest person I ever met so I doubt he will ever figure out how to use it.

I sold my:

White iPhone 3GS 16GB
Wrapped in plastic as an Apple replacement
Without including headphones or sim eject tool
for $400.

I got $388 after all fee's.

This was about 3 weeks ago.

-edit-
Just want to add mine was factory 3.1.3 not unlocked or anything.

Sold my unlocked White 3GS about 1 month ago on eBay for £430, that's about $647, the phone had a few marks on the back and the chrome was a little scuffed up too

3G 16GB
Unlocked/JB'kn
Absolutely AMAZING condition (not a single scratch, even on the Apple logo or bezel)
8 months old/no warranty
had to sell it in two days (sold the day before iPhone 4 was released), so I lowered my price by $50 (started at $350), and it sold for $20 below my $300 final asking price.
SOLD for $280

Meh I sold my 3G 8gb with a few scratches for $175 the $30 for such a massive improvement was well worth it

Sold My 3g 8gb on eBay for the final bidding price of $172.50... came with Powers Support film and a Body Glove case, shipping was free.

So really I made out about $140 in the end after ebay fees, paypal fee, and shipping.

Thats the going price at the moment for a 3g 8gb (16gb may get you around 20-30 more possibly).

I got the 32gb iPhone 4 so really it cost me $180.00 for the best highest storage iPhone4.... Cant beat it really.

32GB 3GS
3.1.3 locked, not jailbroken.
cracked screen (in two corners, not in viewing area)
Scratches on the back

$250 on Craigslist.

Broken iPhone almost completely paid for new 32GB iPhone 4.

Priceless.

Sold my 32GB 3GS which had iOS 4.0 jailbroken and unlocked for $365 on ebay, but the buyer still has not paid me yet. Put in the auction description that they have to pay me within 24 hours but it's been almost 48. Looks like I'll be relisting it on ebay tomorrow...

sold it on craigs list for 250 had it up for 300 but dropped it down to 250 and in with in 10 mins got a email and he said he had the money and could meet me in 10 mins so i jumped on it and worked out nice. It was only a 16 gig black 3gs.so paid for my new iphone4 and the case for it.

$365 For 6 Months Used Black iPhone 3GS 32GB w/ iOS 4.0 Perfect Screen and Scratched/Scuffed Up Back

Nothing, had to give it to my GF. She is on my family plan, so I upgrade her line when mine is still in contract to whatever new iphone comes out, give her my old one, then hers (my old one).

So I gave her my 3GS 32GB and am selling her old 16GB 3G.

$330 for iPhone 3g 8gb. But that was in may, before the announce. Was unlocked.

Black 8 gig 3G for $75 bucks.

Plastic on the back was cracked at the connector, the back was all scuffed up, couple of light scratches on the front (plus a kind of major-minor one)...

I didn't mind. Took that money and bought Entourage season 6 on DVD and some dinner for me and my lady!

Got my 3G 16gb in mint condition with all accessories and original box from a co-worker for $50! Great deal huh?

Sold my 3g 8GB to someone on Craigslist for $100. It was pretty beat up though atleast the backside and bezel. Had a lot of scratches and minor dents. It was also starting to give me problems about the SIM card not being installed, even though it was. Could have made like $20-40 bucks more maybe but I just put it up for $100 to get rid of it ASAP.

3GS, 16 gig, no headphones or charger, phone only a month old, great shape, white... $200 on CL. No eBay hassle :D

19 months old 3G 16GB. Factory unlocked for CAD $370 in Craigslist. With extended Applecare expiring Nov 2010.
