I got a refurbished replacement 32Gb 3GS the other day and sold it on eBay for $350. I wanted to get rid of it quick, didn't realize I couldve charged more lol.

Sold a white 3GS 16gb...

I had 2 iphones for sale. The white 3GS 16gb went for $240 (was asking $250) about 20 minutes after dropping from $300 after 2 days. It had a scratch on it. The black 16gb 3GS was listed for $325 but after a couple days and no bites dropped it to $295. Have had about 8 bites but no buyer yet. Been offered $265. I'm holding out hoping I can at least get $275 since its in mint condition (only 2-3 months old). I sold a 16gb 3GS about 8 months ago for $585. Can't believe the value drop! I don't think the itouches lose value that fast! Lol

Just sold my 32GB 3GS for $315

I listed it on Craigslist at first and had about 5-6 Nigerian scammers contact me, then I got lucky and sold it on another message board I go to.

I probably could have got more for it since it was jailbroken and unlocked, but I am happy enough with it covering the cost of my iPhone 4 (plus I don't have to pay Ebay fees, so I can pretend it sold for 6-7% more)

Just sold my 2 year old black 8gb 3G for $299 buy-it-now... iOS 4, jb'd, unlocked. Included all original items + box, plus Otterbox Defender + Crystal Film. Excellent condition.

black 3gs 16 gb. great shape. two days before launch i got 325, unfortunately someone bought it where i didnt ship to. ended up selling it for 265 two days after launch. huge price difference.

Havent sold mine yet, but am hoping to get at least $350 for it. Have it listed on craigslist but just seems like scammers at the moment. iPhone 32GB 3GS in great condition with lots of accessories, so hopefully I can have the full cost of my iPhone 4 covered after all fees from eBay.

My 16GB 3G (6 month old refurb, replaced broken whilst still on contract) shifted for £230 (~$340) on ebay in the UK.

I just sold my scratched to hell unlocked & jailbroken 32GB 3GS for $300 on Craigslist. The buyer didn't care at all that it was scratched up. As soon as she saw that her T-Mobile sim card worked she was like, "I'll take it!" I probably could've gotten more than $300, but I just wanted to sell it quickly. Got myself a brand new iPhone 4 16GB plus $100 and all I had to give up was my screwed up looking 3GS :) Good deal :D

2 year old iPhone 3g 8gb in very very good condition went on ebay jb/unlocked for $252 w/ free shipping.

Ended up with about $220 after ebay/paypal fees.

2-year-old 3G 16GB white sold on eBay for $192.50 with iOS4. Tiny crack on bottom 1/16 of an inch long. Not unlocked for jailbroken.

1-year-old 3GS 32GB black with everything original included sold on eBay for $303 to someone in Thailand, but they did not meet my personal requirements for an international bidder on an item this expensive (more than 10 feedbacks, confirmed PayPal address).

It sold again this morning for $310 to a more reputable buyer in Brooklyn.

$370 (£245) for a 12 month ish old 32Gb Black 3GS with iOS4 on it to one of the phone recycling companies in the UK, this let me pay out my current contract and get the new phone with change left for accesories, also i don't have to send in chargers etc. so now have that spare.

My white iPhone 3G 16GB got replaced under warranty due to a hairline crack. I managed to sell my replacement (refurbished?) model brand new in the box with all the accessories (and still covered under AppleCare) for somewhere in the range of $560 USD. I'm sure still being covered by AppleCare helped get as much as I did for it.

Needless to say I was very happy with that. :)

We have a horrible store over here in the UK called Computer Exchange (also found one on Manhatten too...)

Their website listed my iPhone 2G (original iPhone) for £185 unlocked and in mint condition. As you might imagine, for a phone that was 3 years old, it wasn't mint. So for mine they would offer me £143. I sold it to a 'friend' for £150 LOL

Not bad really, 3 year old phone, I paid $400 for (when the exchange rate was £1=$2.10) so I only lost £40ish on it in 3 years.
