I use it roughly 5-6 hours a day maybe. Used to use it quite a bit more before I worked from home to listen to music, listen to movies, etc., while at work in the office. Since I'm home now, I watch TV while working but still use it during the day to check email, Twitter, personal email, texting, personal calls, etc. It's ridiculous. I never thought I'd become so dependent and utterly in love with a freaking phone. Not that I'm complaining. :)

I use the iPod.app mostly all day at work and some games here and there, some texting. Mostly use around 5-6.5 hours. If I play a graphicly intense game when we have no work I usually need to recharge it by the time I leave.

I used to be in that 4-6 hour range.

The iPad has reduced that number to about 1hr. I now use it for texts and calls like it a phone ...I still have the occasional google or facebook check up tho.

I'm hoping the iPhone HD or 4 or whatever it's called it going to renew my obsession with it.

JB FTW

Under 30 minutes a day. I just don't care as much about it as I used to. It's mostly used for Texting and iPod.

Like some others here my iPhone is Always with me, so basically from the time I get up at 0600 and start checking email (personal and work) all day long (so I use a charger at work, in the car, at home, and I carry one with me).

I do not even turn it off....

I would say I average about 3-4 a day usage on my iPhone. I mainly use it for checking email, Facebook, Twitter, and listening to MLB games while at work. I have a car charger, so if I run my battery down at work, I can charge the phone on my way home. I still use it a good amount at home rather than pulling out my MBP.

Enough that I've invested in a Mophie Juice Pack Air. Charge it overnight and it now lasts me the whole day without having to charge it. Adds allitle bulk to the phone but not much. It's nice not having to worry about your phone dying if you're out like it has on me many times.

Listen to it in the car on the way to work, then play it in a dock at work all day, in the car on the way home, then in a dock at home w/the sleep timer when I go to sleep. Add to that text messaging and a few calls per day, not much web browsing though.

Luckily it stays plugged in for all of those activities

You shouldn't have reminded me about the usage thing. The afternoon isn't even over yet and I'm over 4 hours! This must be counting time when music is playing but the screen is off. Just goes to show how integral this device has become in my life.

Probably about 4-5 hours a day

2/3 internet/facebook
30 mins calls
30 mins games and other stuff

I used to use my old phone for texting and phone calls only can't believe how much I have used this since I got it last year!

Well, when you're paying that much for a phone, you should definitely get your worth out of it. I use mine on a go-phone plan so I don't feel bad if I don't use it much.

Now that I have an iPad also, my iPhone usage has gone down alot. Now my iPhone use is limited to calls, emails, and text during work, and checking stocks occasionally. Once I go home, I never use the iPhone except for calls...

I use my iPhone all day...I have 2 car chargers in my car...2 chargers plugged in my room on opposite sides of the room....charger in the kitchen and basement...and I usually carry another charger around campus

I use it to much to count. It's pretty much all I use to surf these days. Best guess would be 4-7 hours a day. I use it for everything. Music in the car, me and my fiancé play Bluetooth games at restaurants while we wait for our food, calls, text, facebook, whatever. I never cared one bit about what phone I had before, pretty much either took the free one, or the really cheap one in the past. Now I am eager for the newest tech. Damn you apple!!

Do you really sleep 12 hours a day? On a good day I'm up at least 16/18.

On sundays I do , lol. But yeah , good point. I dont sleep 12 hours a day - but using your phone 6 hours a day is pretty dramatic, and i guess we all got used to it. iPhone is such a capable device.

It seems that I'm the only one that can make it trough a day on a single charge.
