 woah a lot of you guys are on there a lot. What are u guys doing with it for so long? Surfing, Games, Phone, Ipod?

iPod 90% of the time for me. At first I just wanted an all-in-one device but then later learned you can do so much more with it.

I use it all freaking day long, lol. Read the news & emails on my train ride to work in the morning, while listening to music. Then when I get to work, have speakers on my desk, so listening to the ipod part while working. Then my commute home, I'm reading books on the kindle app, or playing games, checking emails, surfing on the internet. Also, receiving and sending texts and calls during the day. The thing barely leaves my hand. Have a charger at work, so I have a full charge on my commute home.

I used to be in that 4-6 hour range.

The iPad has reduced that number to about 1hr. I now use it for texts and calls like it a phone ...I still have the occasional google or facebook check up tho.

I'm hoping the iPhone HD or 4 or whatever it's called it going to renew my obsession with it.

JB FTW

Thats a good point. Im looking to buy an iPad somewhere down the road when they are made available in the Netherlands. When I have an iPad, I imagine that I will use most Apps on the iPad instead of on my iPhone ( which is my only iPhone OS device at the moment )

But I wont have the iPad with me ALL the time , unlike my iPhone. So I guess my usage will stay the same.

i don't think i use mine that much really, if i'm at home i'm probably on my iMac so i have all my music and web browsing done there, if i'm driving i have an ipod Classic in the car that can fit all my music on, and i can't really use it properly at work as i work on a bar. the only time i really use it is for quick little browsing in the living room or when i'm taking a sh*t lol

All the time! I love using safari on the train to and from work. It's also my iPod. I love my iPhone... can't wait for the 4G!

Just recently we got electricity at my home. Before that I primarily used my MBP to recharge my phone so I could surf as there is still no internet other than satellite. If I had to choose I would give up my MBP before my iPhone. I know syncing etc bla bla bla. I love my iPhone and I travel a lot. I use it maybe 3 hours a day and everytime I am on the toilet lol.

I can't let mine away from me, say if I went out in the Astra VXR and I had forgot my iPhone.. I'd feel like I had left a part of me lol and it wouldn't leave my mind until I got back and got it. Had the 3G since it came out so I have got totally used to it!

Same goes when friends are using it, I'd rather have it in my pocket so I feel secure that nothing bad happens to it :D Had to pay £140 for replacement last year :( 1 drop of water got in the dock connector. Felt empty for days! Nooooo! No iPhone!!!! Nothing can replace iPhone.

My friend bought that stupid iPhone copy that has 2 sims and he cant even change the display pics and it has an OS that looks just as bad as the test software

8-10 hours a day, Sirius at work but it's plugged in and always at 100%. I check whatever emails come in and check twitter once every few hours. If it's a bad day I check FMLs as a pick-me-up.

I also have a battery charger for if I'm ever not by a charging area (which is rare, but it still happens.)

A lot of iPhone power users on this forum.. :) Thanks for the replys.

I should put my iPhone on a shrine in my room , lol.

Mine comes with me everywhere, when at work, I use it for news, twitter, email and a bit of "outside of work" browsing (have full access at work, so not needed really).
Outside of work, I keep working, my emails are pushed, I VPN then RDP/VNC to servers, unlock accounts etc...

Then, on the weekend or on the bus, I use it for music/video and news.

I love reading on it, the kindle app is good, can't wait for iBooks (provided it is cheaper than kindle).

I would say, out of the 17+ hours a day I am awake, I use it 14+, it sits on the charger at home and work though.

14 hours? That's double how much I use it , and Im walking around with that thing all the time!

The strange thing I noticed is that I now use 2 full charges a day , instead of the usual one. Playing music trough the built-in speaker really kills.
