About $10 a week for the past two years. I have been making up for years of not listening to, buying new music. iTunes has opened lots of doors for me. I almost can't stand to listen to the radio (so many inane commercials, so much music I do NOT like, then unable to find out the name/artist of the song I DO like ... ). So for about 10 years the only way I picked up on new music was through movie soundtracks and, occasionally, friends. With iTunes, I have found so, so many new artists and tunes that I love. It suits me and my style of trying to find new music perfectly! It's more money than I ever would have dreamed of spending on music a few years ago, but it has been worth it. And I do think my rate of spending is going down. But now there are all those tempting aps ...

Not a penny... long live the CD!

Still do the CD thing alot... but I also pick up a few songs here and there from iTunes. I received some gift cert for christmas. Between me and the wife I think we have bought about $400 worth of music. But this is over a several years and some of those costs are for upgrades of songs also.

I've been using the iTunes Store for about six years and I've spent just under $900. I'll usually buy an album ever month or so and lately I've been going a little app happy.

pourquoi is French for "why", and porque is Spanish for "why".
And I am very jealous of your exposure to music that would take you as far as another music store, I feel so musically ignorant being nearly exclusively exposed to American music.

Nothing. All my TV shows and movies are recorded from EyeTV or ripped from DVD. Music is from my CD collection and ripped game soundtracks.

I like the convenience of it but I find films and TV series DVDs are much cheaper when bought in a shop.

Hmm... interesting question. Probably somewhere between $100 and $250. I'm not really sure. It's all from gift cards though and I can't a fair amount of those every year. My sister buys a large amount more of music from iTunes so I get a lot of it from her, thus why I don't have to buy as much.

I'm guessing it's around $300 CAN.

60%+ of my ITMS purchases are Music Videos. The rest are TV Shows (South Park, Jon & Kate plus Ei8ht). It would be actually more if CRTC/Canada allowed more TV Shows up here. Survivor and The Amazing Race are my most wanted because I can't find the DVD's. Not to mention the rest of the Music Videos that doesn't show up, like EMINEM. There's only three available?!?!

Movies are rare, I have a few but nothing over $9.99 and Music as well because I can't get a decent copy of LimeWire. LOL

Cool I learnt French and Spanish words lol

Yh I watch a lot of foreign films/tv shows so if I hear a song I like I try and find it at one of the iTunes stores I have accounts at (I watch mainly German and Italian films as I well know both languages :) ).

I have probably only spent a couple of hundred dollars since February 2005 when I got my first iPod. Though I have probably gotten another $200 in gift cards from family/friends. Though the majority of my music have been from CDs that I purchased over 6 years when I got my first CD player when I was 9. Not sure how much my money (or my parents money, rather) that I spent on on CDs probably close to $500.

Less than $20. I've purchased a few comedy central specials. I don't buy music or movies from it because I prefer having physical copies. That being said, I've purchased three songs from the store, two for ring tone purposes and one because it was a special edition track not included on a CD I bought.
