I'm not sure what that has to do with what I said and why you are quoting me?
Inasmuch as you appear to link ICPL to wanting more iCloud storage then it has everything to do with your comment.

ICPL is 100% the reason I got a TB of iCloud storage and it will likely be 100% of the reason I finally drop it.

ICPL is buggy and poorly supported for large libraries. It just doesn't work remotely the way Apple pitches it. I would love it if it did, but my wishes aren't doing great at becoming reality lately.

So if someone was a genius to price iCloud storage as they have, then they need to sit down with the guys over ICPL who are undercutting any reason to have a large iCloud storage bucket.

Out of curiosity. What happens with a very large library like you have?

50 GB/mo because I was sick of having to manage everything under the free 5 GB/mo plan. Since I almost never touch iTunes anymore (thanks to streaming services) it's nice to be able to just plug my phone in and have it back up. $0.99/mo is totally worth it.

I don't use it to sync my photos-- I have dropbox premium for that.

How much do you pay for Dropbox?

How much do you pay for Dropbox?
Originally nothing. I had a lot of free space from a promotion they did with my university. Once that promotional space expired, Dropbox sent me an email offering Premium for a year at a reduced price, so I was paying $6.99/mo. I pay the full $9.99/mo now for 1 TB.

I started using Dropbox before entering Apple's ecosystem in order to sync files across PCs and to keep files on retired PCs accessible without necessarily having keeping physical media on hand to access them. I still use it for that, as well as for redundancy of physical backups (in case my bag gets swiped at school, etc.), as well as for file sharing and collaboration at school (there's still a lot of schooling in my future despite being nearly done with my Bachelor's), so it's well worth the investment for me. YMMV though-- the value depends on how you use it, of course.
