I like the weight of the 14 Pro Max and don’t have any issues with its weight. I use thin cases so I still don’t notice the problem. The weight done feel any difference from my XS Max and 12 Pro Max.

I have a 12 pro max and briefly owned a 14 pro max. The weight difference is nearly half an ounce and is very noticeable to me. Likely a side effect of the much larger battery and overall thickness but I much prefer the 12 pro max weight.

At times I felt like the 12 Pro Max was too light. The 14 Pro Max is the perfect weight.

With current sales of iPhone Pro models, which appears very healthy, there's no incentive to make the phone lighter. So any minor potential weight savings from titanium will be made up for by other components.

I’m using the same case on my 14 Pro Max as my 12 Pro Max, and I don’t notice a difference too much in size. It could be because I’m also used to the Plus/Max sized phones. I had the X for 18 months and was miserable. It was too small and too light so I was always buying bulky cases to add some weight to it.

I just purchased the iPhone 14 pro Max and love it so far except for the weight. Im just wondering how much lighter can they make the next one? I heard just the frame could be aluminium instead of stainless steel. So what maybe 10% lighter at most? I know its just speculation at this point, but Im just trying to get a rough idea.

It's not just about weight. It's about the square sides, which make the weight that much more annoying (painful) in the hand. It's also about thickness.

Apple has been going nuts with size, weight, and thickness since the iPhone 6 series, which was comfortable.

The current phones, particularly the max, are simply failures of design. They're horrible. Apple is all but acknowledging that in the 15 series with different, lighter material and rounded edges.

I was amused by all of the Apple sheep crowing about the return of square edges, which are objectively just uncomfortable.

100% also the flat sides do make the 12-14 models less comfortable to hold than the 6-11 models. I’m just using a case. I haven’t usd one since I got my iPhone 4.
