I think in a few years it won't be about thickness anymore, there needs to be some real innovation in the smartphone design world

You guys completely ignoring all the reports of bent iPhone 5s because it's already too thin? I think it's safe to assume we won't see anything thinner.

Realistically, the absolute thinnest Apple (or any other company) could ever make their phone is the size of the 3.5mm headphone jack. Unless the standard for headphone jacks somehow changes within the next decade or so. Pretty much everyone listens to music through earbuds/headphones with 3.5mm jacks.

I was just thinking the opposite, why not eliminate the headphone jack - no one uses it anymore with Bluetooth. :p I'm sure a little Lightning adapter could be made for those that still want it.

Could be a little awkward on the fingers if you're used to the size of the 4/4S

i had the 4 since launch day over 2 years ago without a case. bought the 5 day 1 and it feel good in your hand... not awkward at all.

I would have liked lonGer battery life and new design on the ip5. Not just thinner and longer.

I really don't like it too thin. My wife just got the new iPod Touch and that is too thin for me. If I put that in my back pocket and sat, that iPod Touch will be broken.

Hopefully when the thinness fad is over, they'll go for promoting durability: "this is our most durable iPhone yet, screen never breaks and it never scuffs!" although something like that is probably still far in the future, if even a possibility

I do hope that's sarcasm
