about $45.00 for my '08 Chev Impala. I'm lucky since this is my work car, and they pay for all gas. I average about 3400 miles driven a month. I pay $37 a month for personal mileage.

The CHEAP gas is $3.79 in Mexifornia. Thank God I have a hybrid! :D

I actually LIKE it when gas prices go up... since I paid a bit more for a hybrid, every time gas prices go up I'm SAVING even more money! Whoo hoo! ;)

You're not saving more money. You're just recouping the extra cost of the hybrid faster. :p

Quick question, what kind of gas mileage are you averaging with your Impala? The V8's get around 18MPG, but I would think the V6 is much better.

I think it's around 25mpg. Since I'm not paying for the gas, I'm haven't paid too much attention to it.

Not surprised.

I have learned to drive a lot more sensibly using slower starts and gliding stops if you will. Here in Japan, it makes a big difference because in many places it is stop and go traffic. By doing this I have saves some gas money over time.

When you figure that you are paying close to $5.50 per gallon, it's worth trying different techniques to save gas.

Here in Bayern(Bavaria) where there are tons of hills, many of the locals switch to neutral when going down hills, supposedly saves lots of gas. My American colleague tried it, and it worked, maybe too well, she got a speeding ticket because the speedometer doesn't work when in neutral :p

$25 @ $3.45/ gal on my 2001 Toyota Echo

I almost always take the bus to campus so this fill up will last me at least a month. I can't even remember the time I filled up before that, maybe it was sometime in February . I really only have a car for grocery shopping and so I can drive home to Miami during school breaks.

Well, I've been avoiding filling up my gas tank for as long as I could, but there's only so many places BART can take me.

It now takes just under $65 to fill up my Accord :(
I am not looking forward to this summer.

Now I ask, how much was your last tank fill up?

I own a toyota hybrid. Gives me roughly 1000km to the tank.
:)

You guys need to learn how to siphon gas

Oops.

Sometimes I coast in neutral, but luckily the speedometer still works.

How big is your tank?
