I would assume since 32gb will be the new base model, that Apple will look to pad their profit margins by making the iPhone 7 start at $699.

You saw Samsung do that recently with the Galaxy S7 (32gb base but price increase up to $699) and Apple doing the same with the iPad Pro (32gb base but price increase to $599)...should we expect similar type storage / price increases for the iPhone 7 and 7+?

And beyond just the 32gb model, how much is the next tier up (128gb) going to cost? $100 or $150 more?

Of course, whatever prices the iPhone 7 is, one would assume the 7+ will be $100 more on each configuration (32gb = 799, 128gb = $949).

Thanks for your input :)

***Disclaimer: Yes, we know nothing is official until Apple announces it. Still doesn't mean I'm not curious and would like to hear your thoughts.

When you think of it. This is starting to get crazy as far as prices for a phone. A $1000 iphone? I actually thought of keeping my old phone and just waiting for the new mac lineup to come out.

So what exactly is the pricing? I was watching on a small screen an all I got is that the base model iPhone Plus model got a price INCREASE of $769.

IF they are using the iPad Pro pricing structure then that means the middle tier (128GB) iPhone 7+ will be $919?!?! Ouch. Thats the one I was getting...

They only showed the base model pricing ($649 for 7 and $769 for 7+) and haven't put the 128/256 pricing up on the website yet.

Me thinks they don't wanna give the media too much of a sticker shock during the event ;)

Well, color me surprised. It's still $100 difference between capacities on Apple website. At $849 for 256GB iPhone 7 instead of the $949 I expected, I think I'll definitely be getting that one.
