I had to laugh at this post ... wasting a bit of money on a few UNI computers is a drop in the bucket ... The Canadian Government just spent 1.1 Billion Dollars for that G20 summit weekend fiasco in Toronto.

They could have bought new MBPs for everyone living in Canada ... all of us!

If you look back, all I stated in this thread is you can not deduce wasteful spending (which you seem to want to conclude off the bat) without knowing the circumstances. Until those details are known, it is just speculations and assumptions and you know what they say about assuming things..

As I said in my first post on this matter, go talk to your department if you are truly concerned.
