There was a thread about this a while ago, but I'll play again anyway....

My Home Screen is arranged in alphabetical order with the apps which I use the most. My wallpaper is from an abstract image I shot a long time ago and it is the same as the wallpaper I use on my computers as well. The dock has the items I really use the most. This is arranged identically on both iPads (rMini and iPad Air). The iPhone, being somewhat smaller both in physical size and capacity, doesn't have quite as many apps as the two iPads but I keep the arrangement still pretty much the same. The second page contains games (again, in alphabetical order). Third page is books, reference material, app for the local public library, etc., again in alphabetical order. Fourth page is photography-related, with various camera alls and such. Fifth page is music and the ABC and YouTube apps. Last page is four folders of stuff I don't use a lot but still want to have available: Some of the Apple apps in one folder, some art apps in another folder, Earth and Sky apps in a third folder and Utilities in the last folder.

Having everything in alphabetical order helps, as does having things categorized. (I'm a retired librarian so this kind of stuff comes naturally to me!)

Thanks for the suggestion. I was thinking about doing something similar too.

I like to have a blank page and then the next page be most common apps then the last page all my folders. The apps in the folders are in alphabetical order.
