I don't get it either. Here is a list of things I charge:

1. iPhone 6+
2. Apple Watch
3. iPad Air
4. Beats Studio Wireless
5. Generic Bluetooth Earbuds
6. Macbook Pro 15"
7. Logitech Harmony Home Control remote for my TV (goes in its cradle every night)
8. HP Prime Calculator (weekly - I'm an engineer)
9. Whistle (Fitbit for my dog - weekly)

The Watch barely made any impact! lol

I'm currently sitting in a hotel room and all 1-6 are currently plugged in all over the room. The bluetooth earbuds (which I use for working out) are plugged in behind the TV because I ran out of sockets... lol

You're already traveling with a lot, why not just get one of those USB "charging hubs" and only need a couple outlets ;)

The Watch is the easiest thing to charge since you don't need to fiddle with putting a cable in a hole. (Not that a cable is that hard anyway, just that the Watch is easier than that.) No one should be straining to keep the watch charged if they end up by a charger at the end of the day.

I thought battery life was going to be an issue with the Watch, but I get through my day with somewhere between 56% to 67% left on 2.0.1.

Of course I only ask it to notify me of emails, texts, calendar events, phone calls, and the rare Apple Pay purchase. I have yet to even really use apps on it since the ones I would like to use tend to tell me to open the App on my iPhone anyway...

How often? Every evening.

When? For about an hour, usually while sitting with my wife and watching late night TV.

After that, it's back to 100%. Then I put it on and wear it to bed, setting its alarm to tap me in the morning.

I charge mine overnight and it usually goes on the charger with 60-40 percent left. Thats with medium usage. Since I first got the watch in April its gone into reserve mode only twice.

I usually wear mine 18 hours per day. During this time I usually have an hour or more where I'm running the workout app and using a Bluetooth headset with it. By the time I go to bed I'm under 20% sometimes less depending on how much work related stuff I receive on it. I'm sure if I didn't use the workout app and play music from it to my headset I would get a lot better battery life but I'm not complaining. I think the battery has improved with 2.0.1

Wake up at 6:30am, put the watch on, wear it all day (including showering,) put it back on the charger around 11pm. I usually have around 40%-50% battery left over.

Charge mine of a night. Even though I could probably get away with charging every other night. At about 11pm I'm normally on around 70% after being off charge from 7am.

I take it off the charger when I leave for work everyday at 6am and put it back on the charger before bed, often with 40-50% charge left. I do the same with my iPhone 6 and my iPad Air 2 and iPad mini. While I am sleeping is perfect time to charge them. In the morning they are ready to go with me and I usually don't have to worry about them. I will admit though that in my messenger bag I do have are charger, lightning cable and a watch charger cable in case I need to charge. To be honest though they rarely get used.

I charge my watch every day, even though I'm usually left with about 40% after taking it off the charger at 7:00am and putting it back on the charger at 10:30pmish during the week.

I've never understood the mystery about charging any device. At night, you put it on a dock/plug it in. Period. Dot. What's so hard about that?

Some of us like to have it on at night, for notifications or just to check the time in the middle of the night.
I charge mine while I'm showering/getting dressed in the morning, then again for 30 minutes or so while I am reading before sleep. Keeps it between 20% and 80% to optimize battery life as well.

Exactly why I have a night stand dock.

I voted that I charge it every night when I retire. BUT.....I have gone up to 3 days on a single charge. Day three it begins to "wind" down and just provide the time for a few hours then that's it.

I made my box into a charging stand, and I just slip it onto that every night when I go to sleep. While it doesn't always need it (often over 60% left at the end of the day) it's still nice to top it off every night
