I'm talking to those without a screen protector, how often do you clean your screen and how do you clean your screen?

I'm a little curious.

Clean it with a microfiber cloth, when I am meeting with someone that I may be showing them something on it.

I also clean mine with a microfiber cloth. Since I use my iPad everyday, I tend to clean the screen each night after I'm done using it. I'm a bit OCD about having fingerprints on the screen.

I'm the same. I clean mine about 2-3 times per day.:apple:

I probably clean mine like once every month and a half. The fingerprint thing doesnt really bother me much.

I think its kind of crazy to wipe fingerprints from a device that will IMMEDIATELY get dirty once you touch it again.

For me, it's usually because I'm showing something on it like an above poster said. Don't need to be showing all of my swipes and touches. :)

I honestly thought I'd clean mine all the time. But after having it around 3 weeks now, I've cleaned it twice. I thought I'd be bothered more by the fingerprints, but I think because I've got the Smartcover, I never see my screen off, or all black, so don't really notice any.

I was gonna say I take a bath with mine every day but some people actually seem to be that serious about keeping their iPad clean so I'll be honest...

I clean it pretty much never. If the screen is really dirty/greasy then I'll wipe it with the side of my hand, my shirt, or the little cloth that came with my iMac.

One or twice a week I wipe it down with my wool felt smart cover.

Every month or two I might use distilled water and a micro fiber cloth.

Get a stylus......boxwave on amazon...used my finger for the last 18 months and have not had to clean daily...now i clean every other day....sty much more accurate too....

i hadn't cleaned mine in weeks, until one day i did it while watching and movie...and i was like  ... oh ****.. i can see the movie clearer now.

lol!

But i've only cleaned it(if wiping once with my shirt counts as cleaning) maybe less than 5 times since i've got my ipad in early April.

Following your logic it would be equally crazy to sweep the floor or dust around the house.

And... if that's the case, I wouldn't want to live in your house

I clean my screen with a micro fiber cloth every couple of days. When my teen age grand kids come over to use it I make them wash their hands good before letting them use it. 

I actually do that with my 7 year old cousin plus i keep an eye on him to make sure he doesnt bang it or scratch it.

Maybe once a week, sometimes less often. I simply accept the fact that fingerprints and 3 lines from Smartcover will be there. When you using the iPad, you can't even notice them.
