Several Times A Day

I clean my screen several times a day, while at work. I use the back of my tie to wipe it.

Whenever I notice the fingerprints, usually when it is off. Generally, I use my shirt

Every time I get it back from my kids. I swear, I don't know how they do it but they can be playing with it for 5 min and the screen is disgusting!

What bugs me is that I can wipe my iPhone on my shirt and it's clean. But for the iPad I have to take my shirt off to wipe the iPad

Microfiber cloth, sometimes with a bit of water sprinkled on it if the screen is greasy, once a day or every other day. Right now I haven't cleaned it for about four days and that's very unusual.

Pretty much once per week when I do the charging. I am not a heavy user.

For the most part it's microfibre, but once in a while I use a specific to LCD screens cleaner and a microfibre cloth.

Once at night before she goes to bed and a midday wash at the office;). I use a cloth and windex.

Not a good idea. Windex breaks down the oleophobic coating on the screen. Without that coating fingerprints are a lot more pronounced and a lot harder to clean off.

Since I am the sole user of my iPad and pretty meticulous about washing my hands, I clean my screen maybe once a week with Monster cleaner and a microfiber cloth. Spotless shine! :)

I wipe off my iPad's screen when I see smudges or fingerprints, and only when something doesn't come off right away do I get out the iKlear, put a tiny bit on the microfibre cloth and use that to wipe off the offending gunk. My fingers are usually pretty clean; I don't like a lot of smudges, smears and fingerprints all over the iPad so I keep her sparkling and shiny-clean.

I use a Monster micro fiber cloth and cleaner whenever I get tired of looking at the fingerprints. I was very anal in the beginning but as time goes on it's becoming less of an issue. I still like to keep it fairly clean though.

The real question is, how many cleaned their screen after reading this thread?

I clean it whenever I noticed smudges.

Is it also bad to use rubbing alcohol? (in reference to the windex mentioned)

I have a screen cover, so I usually just spritz it with my sunglasses cleaner (rubbing alcohol and water. Or that's what it smells like) and a microfiber cloth. I usually do it once a day, or every other day, depending on what I'm eating and how smeared it is.

I'm talking to those without a screen protector, how often do you clean your screen and how do you clean your screen?

I'm a little curious.

i have a microfiber glove that i keep in my ipad bag and a small bottle of cleaner that is safe for the ipad screen, i clean it a few times a day because im really picky about how clean it is (both sides) i dont mind cleaning it at all.:apple::apple::apple::apple::apple::apple:

I would NEVER use anything like that on any LCD-type display. And certainly not on an iPad, where physically touching the screen is so important. You don't want damage the coating on the surface.
