How often do you (plan to) update the iPhone

Unless there's an earth shattering update, I'll only upgrade when AT&T gives me the subsidized price, i.e., 2 years later

Every 2 years for me. This time I'm waiting till LTE version comes out

I think I'm going to be doing the same. Haven't completely decided yet but I most likely will. The iPhone 4 is a great device and even when the iPhone 5 comes out, it's still going to be just as good. Especially running iOS 5.

Yearly. Apple stuffs holds up its value so damn well. When the second generation of iPod touches came out I sold my first gen on CL for nearly full price.

Yearly

Been upgrading yearly since the 3G. Will keep upgrading yearly also. Selling the old one buys me the new one. Only paid for one iPhone out of pocket. As long as Apple keeps putting out a phone that fits MY needs, I will keep buying.

You want unfair? They're tax deductible too! :p

When was anyone going to tell me this? So let me get this clear if u have a paid dev account u can buy at an apple store with no tax for an iOS devise? Or is it off your taxes every tax day lol. Because this would be nice to know.
