I have my bands in a sort of sad pile. I guess I need some type of case as my next accessory!

Hardly ever. I've become quite fond of my OEM link bracelet (purchased for my Series 0 in 2016 and still going strong, now on my Series 4). I wear it for business, casual, and many active situations. I have a hard time wearing anything else. That said, I do switch to a black sport band when doing a lot of swimming or highly active things. I also own a black leather loop, which was my original daily driver but then took a back seat when I plunked down the big bucks for the link. Unfortunately I find the leather loop a lot less comfortable than the link.

Love the link bracelet. It matches so well with the stainless watch body, and even looks better on the thinner profile of the Series 4!

I find the Leather Loop super comfy! One thing that turns me off from the link bracelet is how hard it is to take it on/off the watch itself - do you have any tips on taking the band off the watch?

The leather loop is probably my favorite of all the bands, pretty close to the sport loop.

I was pretty happy with the leather loop when it was my daily driver, but once I tried on the link, the loop just didn't feel quite right anymore. I mean, it's still comfortable enough, just not AS comfortable. The link feels cooler on my wrist because it radiates heat easily, while the loop retains it. The little bumps on the loop bother me slightly as well. The link feels very smooth against the skin. But this is a very individual thing. The leather loop is a great strap and it has the advantage of being adjustable.

The way to take the link bracelet off the watch is to separate a link first so that you can take off each end individually. It's pretty easy to do once you get used to separating links. Recently I did notice links were getting much harder to separate on my bracelet, so I gave it a good bath in my ultrasonic jewelry cleaner, and that removed the embedded gunk and made the mechanisms work much more easily again.

Does anybody see a Problem switching a link bracelet and sport loop every day for workout for about 2-3. years? the mechanism will wear out quickly?

Wore a Series 1 Watch for 2 years. Changed between my bracelets almost daily.
I would say that the mechanism is minimally worn out. But of the Watch, and not my loops.

Mhhh ok. I think about keeping my S0 just for the workout.

I have the series 0. I change my band every day....sometimes twice a day. I go to the gym and wear a sport band. Change it when I go to work to match my outfit. No problems yet.

Yes. Got the sport loop first then decided I had to have the leather loop. They both look great on either my SS or SBSS watches.

.....And I was sweating Apple's design choice before it was confirmed they would retain band compatibility......;-)

The tan and black leather at the back are M'Keke brand off Amazon. The brown leather in front is Nomad.

Thanks mate - And what's your nato-style straps? I have a few coming in, but I'm traveling a month in Thailand this spring and think nato/canvas is the way to go in the humid heat.

Actually debating leaving my Apple Watch at home and just put on the trusted travel-tank SKX007, but would love to go for some runs/hikes and maybe track it - don't know, might just bring both

I change my bands depending on what I'm wearing and what I'm doing that day. My daily driver is the stainless link bracelet. When I workout or swim I have the Nike sport band. When Im dressing up I bounce between the Milanese loop and a saddle brown classic buckle.
How do you take off the stainless steel Link? Apple says to pull apart, de-link, the Link so that it’s two pieces then take off from AW. I’ve been taking off Link from AW carefully and slowly by releasing the Link from AW on both ends simultaneously.

I open the band so that you have more wiggle. I loose both sides 1-2 mm and than slide both sides off simultaneously.

I swap my Nike+ Black sport for a Black milanese once a week to wash the sport. It gets smelly!! Thinking of getting a blue or White sport.

I unlatch it to make it looser and then slide off one end at a time. I remember when it was new it was very difficult to get off and had to push the release buttons and sliding it off both ends of the watch at the same time.
