I don't say this to disagree with you, but I loathe a vibrating phone. There's just this level of discomfort/anxiety that I get from that "brrrrrrrr. brrrrrrr. brrrrrr" of a vibrating phone. THAT SAID, the old iPhones (like my iPhone 5) are significantly more noisy than the newer iPhones. And don't get me started on the sound of a vibrating phone on a glass desk.99.9% of the time.
I loathe a ringing phone.

Do the new iPhones use a oscillator like the iPhone 4S did? Or do the new iPhones still use a spinning motor?
With everything I have going on I have come to realize that I'll go weeks at a time with vibrate only on. I am always at work, school, sleeping, or just hang out with friends, so I never have a reason to turn the sound on.
