A picture from the 60's? I don't recall posting a picture of my sister. But then again, I can't recall what I had for breakfast yesterday :) BTW, thanks for your kind comment :)

My pleasure.

I think that the other picture might have been in the thread where MR members post pictures of themselves; I seem to recall one of you and your sister, when you both were children and a date from the early 1960s.

However, the picture of your parents is very nice, they look comfortable together, and - as I mentioned - I think the one you posted of yourself and your mother on the first page of this thread (from the 1960s) is a lovely photograph to have.

Was it this picture? I think this one's from 1961 or 62

I went to a Friend's funeral recently. He was 55 and his mother is 90 what I find really weird is that he was the last of her three children. It is just not right to outlive all of your children.

It's not right to outlive ANY of your children. I couldn't even begin to imagine how that would feel.

No. Not that one, nice though it is.

My recollection is that it was simply you and your sister, a head-and-shulders picture of you both, which I think you posted in the thread where MR members posted pictures of themselves.

Thanks for sharing.

I have a confession. Posting these pictures are bringing back memories, that to be honest, is making me unbelievably sad. As much as my father was a pain in the last few years of his life, I miss him so much. We had our differences after my mother died, but that BS is meaningless in the scheme of things. What I want to say to people here on MacRuumors, tell your parents that you love them no matter what. I did that with my mother, but I regret not telling my father that. I hope he can feel my real feelings about how much I loved him....

A picture of my dad and I sometime in the 90's
