Sounds like the curse of the milanese loop!
I did wear a milanese loop and it was responsible for some of the scratches. But definitely not all of them, and not the deeper scratches! I realized it quickly and stopped wearing the milanese, and now its for sale.

Mine is a Series 5 in its 4th year of use and in decent condition for that age. These things are disposable tech and I often laugh at people here obsessing over tiny scratches, as for me, I prefer to just wear and use them for what they are. Mine has a deep scratch across the face where I threw it across my kitchen after it told me I didn't have a timer app installed on the 9th attempt at trying to set a 20 min timer a few months ago. The face also has a few pitted areas where I had been cutting steel and the sparks melted the screen coating. All things that aren't obvious unless looking at the watch very closely and don't affect its use. On the whole its been a very durable smart watch with a mediocre battery and an absoluetly abysmal Siri assistent lol. I still enjoy using it though.

Just picked up a series 8 on Amazon (Prime Day deal) to replace the series 6 that’s in immaculate condition. Just wanted a newer watch with a battery @ 100%. Series 6 @ 76%.

AW7, slightly used...

Just picked up a refurb Aluminum Series 7 on Prime Day. Was rocking an Aluminum Series 4 before that whose battery was pretty terrible (76% health) but was otherwise alright for my needs.

Though whoever refurbished my 7 did a fantastic job as there’s not a scratch on the thing and it has a brand new battery. Only thing is that it had a USB-A cable in it instead of the normal USB-C, but for that, Amazon refunded me 25% of the purchase price.

Will you be trading in the Ultra or private sale? My wrists are small also for the Ultra, but I go back and forth about letting go.
More likely a private sale as Apple is super stingy on trade ins even on high end models. It was bought on launch day and is in perfect condition. No adventures here.

Attached a picture. Even with the sport band it looks comically large on me.

Had the original Apple Watch until last November when it finally croaked so got a GPS series 8 in space black and 41 MM. no complaints here at all and really like the updates.

Still have my Series 2. Case is still in excellent condition despite daily use, but the battery feels like it might be down to ~75%. Still enough battery to get me through the day, just not 2-days anymore.

S3 in excellent condition
S5 to improve on the S3. Ironically the S5 required a battery replacement last year - while the S3 is still going strong. Both are currently at 93% battery health...

Under a year, perfect

But if I’m working on something mechanical or doing work around the house I’m not wearing any jewelry, for many reasons, see someone get degloved after getting their arm pulled into a machine and you won’t wear jewelry around equipment ether 😬

I picked up a S7 SS w/ Mileanese loop for a great price a few months back and gave my S3 aluminum to my brother.

Release AW6 Nike (40-something-mm (largest thingie avail. at the time)).

Never babied.

Low contrast usage shows no real impediment.

I have a launch day S2, S4 and a launch day Ultra. I have my fiancé the S2 when I upgraded to the S4 and he cracked the screen to the point the screen wouldn’t turn on anymore. Both my S4 and Ultra are in excellent condition. The only thing besides the band that have on them are the tempered glass protectors to protect the glass from shattering.

New to the Apple Watch world. I got the Ultra. I initially got the Garmin Fenix S7 Solar but it was too big for me. So I returned it and got the AWU a week ago after seeing my friend also getting it and it looked good. So far very happy with the purchase.
