About 3 months. I am using my second replaced iPhone 4. I have had an iPhone 4 since launch day. The iPhone 5 will have to be pretty impressive to get me to switch.

Got an approximately 4 month old white iPhone 4, after selling my black iP4. So far, I'm pretty happy with the white iPhone (as it has warranty), but if the announcement is underwhelming (hope not!) I might just keep my iPhone. If not, I'll get the next iteration.

Ammunition

No option for not upgrading, but:

iPhone 4 - 11 months (replacement for stolen day 0 4)
iPhone 3G - 3+ years old, perfectly functional, gifted to GF
iPhone 2G - Almost 4 years old, perfectly functional, used as a backup for the 4

----------

Clarity is pretty overrated.

For my freinds who keep telling me to throw stuff out! Do you use all three?

Still using my launch day iPhone 4. Even if this new iPhone is just upgraded specs and no cosmetic differences I'm getting it. Time for a new phone even if it looks the same. I've tried other phones and returned them all.

iPhone 4 that is only about 2.5 months old, had to have the hardware replaced when it bricked on an iOS5 beta out of the blue. Thankfully they took care of me at the Apple store, roughly 30 days out of warranty.

A month ago I bought a used Razr off of ebay. I do not know when this particular one came out but the model was released 4 years ago.

I have an iPhone 4 which I've had since launch day. I got the original iPhone at launch along with the 3. The 3GS I got when my contact ran out. I most likely will be selling my iPhone 4 to get what ever new one they announce.

I'm with your friends but I'd sell rather than throw. The mrs might be interested in your wrapped iP4 depending on the network and how the announcements go later on.

I have an original 8GB iPhone that I bought in January of 2008. I'll be upgrading regardless of what's announced. Just give me 64GB storage, HSPA+, and a non glass backing.
