I supposedly have 158 days left on my 3G. Hopefully that will last me until the new fullscreen/touchscreen iPod (i.e. an iPhone without the "phone") is released... ;)

What you need is a "Day After" warranty.

So when your iPod fails the day after the normal warranty expires, you will be covered! ;) :p :D

Mine still has bout.. 2 more years life in it...
I can always expect this! its less than 2 months old... and been replaces once already for a faulty HD..
oh well.. hope i get a new iPhone soon :D

I have a 3G 20GB that I've had since Christmas 2003 and still works like charm. I am thinking about replacing the battery though. According to the iPod Death Clock, mine is doomed! LOL

I bought my wife a 1G 4 GB mini for Mother's Day 2005 and got her a 5G 30GB for her birthday last year.

Still using a 3rd Generation 20 GB...and can still get just about 6 hours of battery life from it...I like the idea of having an old one that I'm not afraid of throwing around...

30GB Black :apple: iPod Video G5

December 16 2005. That makes it 1 yr and 1+months old.

Oh, and not 1! scratch on it. I baby the hell out of it. :)
