How scratch-proof is the screen?

Had my 3G since launch and no scratches anywhere, but I keep mine in a belt holster/case thingy.

I haven't had my as long. I got it a whopping 20 minutes after launch. Plus I was on west coast time, so the stores opened later than in the rest of the mainland U.S. No wonder my iPhone is still in such fine shape! 😉

My 3G has a scratch UNDER the glass! I'll post a pic soon, think i could get apple to swap it out? as there is no way i could do it?
