You noticed that, too? Profiles "accidentally" installing themselves, I guess!

On the substance: I have it on 3 devices: Xs, IPP 11" (2018) and iPad Air 2. Working fine on all. A few glitches (can connect to an Exchange server on phone but not on IPP; Pencil wonkiness at times; one app that won't open on any device [RadarScope]), but all in all, pretty good and I have no hesitation on continuing forward (as long as things don't get worse, which can happen).

Mine updated to 6 this way as-well luckily I got there before it installed itself as there’s reports the watch won’t work unless phone is also on the beta.

It's been fairly stable for me. My phone has gotten a little warmer than usual but nothing crippling and for the most part it's been smooth to use.

So far its been very stable for me with the exception of the stock mail app which has been pretty buggy... Other than that battery has been good, haven't had any crashes, no reboots, no shutdowns, phone is working smooth and no issues with any other apps.

I’ve had the odd reboot but nothing that isn’t expected from a B1

Like bigjnyc my major issue with the beta has been with the stock mail app. It’s unreliable at downloading email and marking mail as read on one device isn’t marking it as read on other devices. I’ve also had countless unknown emails showing up in my mail views and the mail counts seem pretty random. That’s the only bug that is making me want to downgrade so again I’d take that as being a solid B1. If something annoyed me too much I’d downgrade and I think iOS 10 or 11 was the last time that happened

Did you both have the regular Dev beta profile for watch os 5.3?

I've not upgraded either yet but will do for the phone on pb out perhaps db2 but the watch... Not so much until Ive researched more.

For me, this has been the buggiest DP1 since iOS 7, to the point where I can say it is not stable to be a daily driver. Apart from the scrolling issues and buggy apps, since upgrading, my phone is completely unreachable at times, and then I get missed call text messages - anyone else facing this issue?

Not at all. The only consistent functional bug I've seen on my iPhone 8 is the custom ringtone bug. (I don't use the stock Mail app at all, so I don't see the apparent bugs there.) So far, I don't have a single broken app.

I have seen some minor cosmetic bugs. The status bar sometimes shows up where it shouldn't in apps. I've seen the bottom row of text covered up by the keyboard in Messages once or twice such that you couldn't scroll up to see what you were typing.

And on my iPad Air 2, there are a few more cosmetic bugs on the home screen, as you might expect with the additional changes to the iPad UI. I've had two random resprings on the iPad in 10 days when opening or closing apps, but they're not reproducible.

I have seen a few odd, really old "Missed call" notices pop up on my iPad. Last night, it was a missed call from 99 days ago. But I haven't missed any current calls.

Overall, for a DB 1, it's been surprisingly stable. (I did not do clean installs. I upgraded the iPhone in place. The iPad update failed the first time, so I had to restore it, install iPad OS again, and restore from a backup.)

Mixed feelings on it on my 1st gen iPad Pro 12.9.

It took all of 3 seconds until its first crash (right after install completion)

It will still freeze on occasion, split-screen resizing will not work. But so far I've liked everything - even if iOS 12 beta 1 was actually very stable. iPadOS 13 b1 reminds me of the iOS 5 betas - the new features were still kinda buggy, and some of the old stuff was broken too.

The main issue is that your eyes get used to the dark OS (which, unlike macOS which is a dark gray, iPadOS dark mode is PITCH BLACK), and when you swtich to an app that's white (e.g. Twitter), it can be a little harsh on the eyes if you're in a dark room. But that's my fault for installing it before apps are adapted to switch between modes.

Also - it's speedy on my very old iPad, which is very good.

I have it installed on my phone and iPad. It's been very stable. An app will crash here and there but nothing crazy.

I put it back onto my iPad Pro 11” last night, after downgrading a week either, because I missed the coolness of the new. I still have an issue with my work email (MDM) and attachments but other than that its been solid on both this and my XS. Not even any noticeable battery issues.

Got it working on my iPad Pro 2018 12.9, but total fail on my iPhone XS Max. Black/white screen reboot loop using 3utools multiple times. So back to 12.3.1 I went...
