6'1" 1/4 at 15 and a few months. i broke my anke recently, and after the doctors looked at the x rays, they said i have alot more growing to do thats good news seeing as i'm a basketball player

Grew nearly 18cm in one year, had the same awful pains as the guy further back, stretch marks, tendons stretched to the point of nearly snapping - very nasty.

When I started High School I was in the top 5 tallest people in the year, when I finished I was middle of the pack of 120 boys and girls. I did my growing young.

I was ripped off genetically. By brother and sister who are both younger than me are both taller and have nice, slim, athletic builds. I on the other hand was not so fortunate in the looks department.

I got all the brains though.

I'm a senior about to graduate high school...freshman year I was 5' (though it came in ~3 inch spurts). Growth spurts suck, never mind the fact that you can't even dream of touching your toes or doing anything flexible, I outgrew clothes really quickly, and shoes were another story. I was a size 9 freshman year, now I'm a 12.


As for girlfriends...my girlfriend ( until recently) was a wee bit over 5'. It took some getting used to. And some neck pain.

The 5'5''-5'6'' category is a bit of an outlier though. Gee, can't those people just be a little taller/shorter. It's most inconsiderate of them.

I fit one of the general Western ideas of beauty, but my weight is about 125-130lbs. and my height is 5'6"
