How the new iPhone should look according to me (picture)

Not liking it. Too blocky looking. The specs are unrealistic. The clock widget is ugly. The current iOS is better.
I think a 21.2 megapixel camera is pretty unrealistic much more then a 120 gb storage. I'd like to see it go to 4.0" as well not much more then that. Oh and if you going go aluminum lets just go Titanium instead

I think it looks pretty good, just a tad bit too wide. It'd be nice if you also put an rectangular oval home button on the thing

Samsung recently released a phone that looks similar to the 3GS...I'm guessing you weren't a fan of that design then?

I guess we need to complain to the mods to get the button back. Dont know why they got rid of it.
The OP simply did a mockup of something he would like to see and yet we have some
's making negative comments on nothing more than an idea.
If all you want to do is bash a guy's idea, maybe you should do it quietly in your head or at the very least give constructive criticism.
For the OP, i appreciate the effort and giving us a nice mock up. You could enlarge the volume and mute button a bit, maybe give the power button a more oval, square or thinner look (or even make it a capacitive light up notification button, like when you receive an sms, mail or missed call it could blink) and then the Apple logo needs to be fixed on the back. I also tend to agree that a widget is not neccessary. The HTC type large clock taking up all that room on the screen.
You could also implement a change in the shape of the icons or come up with a different idea than a grid of icons? Maybe something similar to a live tile in wp or live widget style icon? Just some thoughts.

I appreciate your efforts, OP. Unlike most of the rude jerks on here, I actually think it looks good, and you probably did a better job than most of them could.
If there was a possibility that it would end up looking like your render, then I wouldn't have the Samsung website open in another tab.

With a 21.2MP and 4K Camera and a 720p camera you sure believe that carrier subsidized prices would be closer to 699/799/899

The design it's self is bad ars, a little too wide for my taste, but the design is rad. I would definitely be pleased if Apple released a 4" iPhone that looked similar to this.
I still wan the tear drop from last year that was rumored. This is the tear drip without the tear drop. I love it.
The calendar and clock is stupid though. I agree with another poster when he said the calendar app and lock screen already serves this purpose in a less intrusive and more pleasurable way.
