4K is a good idea, but won't happen until maybe the next complete revision (iPhone 6 or whatever it's going to be called). There's just too little stuff out there that can take advantage of that resolution. And Canon just put out a 4K camera for $15,000... how do you figure a phone that can do video at the same resolution as a $15,000 dollar camera is going to be anything but a crazy price? Other than that, not terrible looking at all... I think going up to 128GB is well within possibility for this release.

Hey!
I was wondering how I would design the new iPhone if I were to work at Apple and started with making it in Photoshop CS5.
I also made redesigned the home screen (it's not hat great lol but I would like something like that).
I hope you guys like it!

Not sure about the hardware, but the OS, I really don't like the clock. Which isn't surprising as I hate the standard Android screenshot of their clock too. It just looks ugly to have that big clock like that taking a third of the screen. And I hate the flip face clock interface, don't know why they try to mimick it.

LOL, no kidding. How can you go from 32GB to 64GB for $100 and then go from 64GB to 128GB for only $100? Next step should be 96GB. And thats just the memory he has there. 720p front camera? Nice thought.

Apple could do those specs but like you said, it sure wont be for those prices ;)

WAIT! How can apple go from 16GB to 32GB to only $100, then go from 32GB to 64GB for only $100?!?!?

I like your rendering, as many have said it's better than some of the others (if you're a fan of a larger screen)

I would buy that.

Yeah but some people dont like a cluttered icon filled screen on the front page. Fortunately, Android has as many home pages as you want to add your most used Apps and then the all App screens.

There are also many different clocks you can use.

Here is an example of how you can have little icons with a bigger clock or more icons with a smaller clock.

Or a different clock

Some may even like this one. The choices are many ;)

Your design seems to be a little more inline with my interests. The specs are irrelevant but just a taller version of my ip4 just seems silly to me.

Thank God you don't work for Apple! That is ugly even by Android standards.

BTW, where the hell is the dislike button?

Seriously? After we've seen the crap possibly REAL stuff put out by your god apple? A long phone with a 2 tone back is disgusting. More people would be happy with this design. At least we'd have a nice screen and a clean back.

It would be perfect, except that clock widget. And with a bigger screen, I would assume more apps to display on each screen. I would take this over what I've seen so far of the iphone 5.

Ignoring the Photoshop quality. I like the backing with slight curve. Where's the home button? The Apple logo is too large. Are you doing the aspect of an HDTV; looks too wide.

With those specs you'd have to double the price (at least).

As far as that home screen goes...I really don't get the fascination with widgets. Sure it is nice to have something that can give at-a-glance information, but for the large majority of time when you're accessing your phone and are not in need of that particular bit of info you're left with half of screen becoming wasted space. This is especially so with a clock widget, when the time of day is already list up top in the status bar.

OP you seem like someone that really likes Android hardware, software and spec-junkie mentality so why not just use Android? Its a damn good OS that has some quarks they are improving on.

My point is that you wouldn't buy a Mac and wish it looked like a PC and ran an OS that looked like Windows. You'd buy a PC right?

I gotta agree here. I mean I like my iPhone and for me that's what I'd get, but if you already like the hardware and OS, why not just get an Android rather than trying to turn something else into the Android. It's not like what you want doesn't already exist.

Yes, I realize Android has customizations. That's why I said "standard". I was referring to the Android screen they almost always show as your stereotypical android screen (The generic one, probably the one that it comes with standard until you change it). I really hate that screen, it looks ugly and kinda creepy to me (it looks like some robot face which I'm sure is on purpose but to me it just looks ugly).

I don't want to be mean, but sometimes I don't know whether people really want that iPhone they made or it's just limited by the photoshop skills, because I've seen this mockup like 5 times.

It's not 2006 anymore..
More like $299, $399, $499

umm did you read the specs... 1080p screen, 21 MP camera, 4K recording and 720p front camera. Plus 32-128GB, that device would cost a fortune. I don't think $999 is enough for the 128GB.

Pretty creative mock up there. A little too big of a screen for me. As was said before, the volume buttons and mute switch look a little too small and too close together. I do like the shape from the side.

Updated! :D
I know the widget is still a little weird but I think it's way better than the ugly clock thing I had.
The icons I used are from a theme that's available to download on Cydia :)
Any feedback :)?
