How thin is the 2013 Thunderbolt Display going to be?

after much debat apples quest to create the thinnest display was achieved. it only meant sacrificing the glass and shell. The new display will feature just the bare lcd with the stand Velcro on.

Am I the only one that wants the new displays to have Bluetooth built in?

Built in GPU would be so cool. Too bad Thunderbolt still isn't good enough to power it. What would you do with Bluetooth?

Have my wireless keyboard,mouse and trackpad hooked up directly to the display so when either me or my misses plug our MBP in it automatically connects

There is no point in releasing TB2 display update without 4K resolution, and the 4K display prices are still prohibitive for general market. So, TB2 display update will happen eventually, but it won't be this year.

This is probable, but they may also release two displays, one standard and one awesome. Both TB2.

Apparently that's how it works if you put a Bluetooth USB on the back of one so I assume it would work the same way

Oh I see what you did there. Ok, I get it. That would be pretty cool. Less steps to dock!

Apple equipped new Mac Pro with TB2 to (a) future-proof it, and (b) provide compatibility with ultra high-performance peripherals (such as Promise Storage or Asus 4K display). This way, professional Mac Pro customers who are willing to spend the thousands of dollars on those peripherals are able to do so here and now.

Apple's own display does not need to support TB2 for Mac Pro users to be able to take advantage of these cutting edge TB2 peripherals. I am certain that Apple will not update its 27" display with TB2 port, while keeping current resolution - that just makes no sense.

I was hoping they were gonna release a new one.. so what now.... I was thinking of getting one... should I wait or... sigh.. so frustrating.. especially when a product is this old..
