    iDemocracy for PC
    iNdependance for Mac

Those two programs do the trick

I can't get past step 12, running AppSnap.

Everytime I am on jailbreakme.com and run Appsnap it just goes back to the emergency call/activate screen and stays that way.

I've tried it every way I can think of, I've turned off autolock, I've tried it in and out of the dock, I've tried waiting a minute and restarting the phone, but it still doesn't work?

    Any suggestions?

This is not always the case. A lot of the time it will not actually reboot. I have done all this several times and you have to be patient and keep trying it. The last time i did it i left it a minute and did a normal turn off and back on on the iphone and then it restarted itself and worked
