I would recommend against lying to the police to get back at your soon to be ex. It is most likely illegal where you are and also why also waste the time of the police whose resources are probably stretched short anyways. I would just chalk it up as a lesson learned and just move on from him. Living a good life is the best revenge.

I don't believe it's a true story but if it is and you have receipt that shows you paid for the phone you can take it to Apple Store and tell them you forgot password and they will remove iCloud account.

What does removing iCloud Activation Lock have to do with it?
