Apparently we are thinking it wrong. I would have figured 24 hours in a solid wifi signal area, and sitting on top of the iPhone ON THE CHARGER would be the secret sauce. And, nope...

I haven't tried the warriors pose with perpendicular pointed feet. Hmm...
Minimize Bluetooth connections and Staying in close proximity to the AirTag while precisely hitting the ‘play sound’ button so the chirp from the AirTag matches the high notes in Sia’s Chandelier also didn’t work.

Weird, because that worked for me with my AirPods the last time. Only it was a bit different, I had to open and close the lid rapidly to match the part in the opening theme from Friends where they stomp on the floor really fast…

Well, clean underwear didn't help. All that effort... 😆:p🤪

If a user is unable to manually update. How would one go about stopping an update?

Mine still have succeeded in not updating. Like, I'm going to be so crushed when they ever DO update. I'll be trying to figure out what I did, was it something I ate? What I was wearing? Were I was? The phase of the moon?

Same for me. Apple really needs to provide a way to manually update. The automatic update has been trouble from day one.

With everything that automagically updates! I don't even want to check my Air Pods. Grrr... Why call it 'updating'. It seems more like it's buying a lottery ticket, and we (should) all know how well that works. You don't win if you don't play, but the chances...

Same for me. I'm starting to wonder if the new firmware exists at all. Received some more AirTags direct from Apple today and they are still on .225

June 19th and my 2 Airtags have not updated. I have had the Airtags right next to my iPhone overnight for a week while the iPhone was charging.

Mine are all on 1.0.291, and I do not get why they will not update! Only thing I can think of is that Apple is doing a slow rollout, to make sure it works and/or doesn't brick the AirTags.

Who knows?

I am 100% with you on this, haha!

They would have to figure out how to make the golf ball regulation weight, and obviously it would not be allowed in tournament play.

"We would like to offer you a brand new product, and we think you are going to love it! The Apple Golfball with the U1 chip, or Apple Golfball-U1, Starting at three Apple Golfball-U1's for $30.00, or a dozen Apple Golfball-U1's for just $90.00. That is just $7.50 a ball when bought by the dozen!"

Obviously some sarcasm there, but I would buy a few (if they are offered them, which will most likely never happen) if they were reasonably priced as you figure you would probably save quite a bit of money if you cut back significantly on losing golf balls.

Just curious, what type of golf ball are you using now?

:apple:
I think you’re lowballing those prices…..

Why exactly is this TMI?

🤷🏻‍♂️

It's from almost a year ago.

I think it might be that I used to play scramble golf, and around the time that movie came out, the other teams were all trying it, and one broke his club, and one wrenched his back. One guy put it on the green, two holes over. It was pretty hysterical to watch. I tried it once, and launched a massive divot. It blocked out the sun!

But, TMI? Can't remember...

Weird, a lot of old posts are being commented and liked today. Hmm...

What's the point of showing the version if we can't do anything about it? Simple question...

Like those damnable AirPods. "There's an update, but you can't 'make' them update, No!, you have to rely on 'Magic'."
Well, even if we can't manual update these ourselves, it is still helpful to know which version your device is on for diagnosing issues or checking for new features.

(Wow. I just realized how old this post was.)
