How to connect iPhone XS max to 2021 M1 MacBook Pro?

Does anyone know exactly what kind of cable I need in order to connect my iPhone XS Max and iPhone 7 to my 2021 M1 MacBook pro?

I'm not 100% sure if the Apple USB Type-C to Lightning Cable will work with these 2 phones. I also own one of those Apple USB-A to USB-C type dongles, but don't know if that will work.

Yes that cable will work just fine. I have an XS and a 12 Pro that share the same cable for photo downloads.
