Larger screen + battery life = 6 Plus wins. It's not too bad to use with one hand IMO. But everyone is different. It does force you to change the way you do things with your phone though, like can't whip it out quickly to check something, walking and checking your phone on a crowded street could be tough when it'll make you afraid to drop the phone bumping into someone. But that's fine. I just wish I didn't get 16GB. Didn't realize the OS and updates were gonna eat memory like this. 16GB has fared me well in the past as I don't put music/videos on my phone, don't keep my pics/videos on here, put them all in dropbox/computer/hard drive...just use this purely for web browsing/streaming/texts/mail/calls etc. I gotta get lucky and find a 64GB 6 Plus to exchange for, SMH. I can easily get a regular 6 - 64GB or 128GB but idk if the memory upgrade means more to me than the compromise of battery life and screen size. Damn.

my friend said to me, because i'm deciding also between the 6 and 6 plus, he said the iphone 6=5c, and the iphone 6 plus =5s

i said to him, that doesn't make any sense. but the more i think about it, the plus is the higher end premium product. i dont know about that. but it does make sense.

That makes as much sense as saying the Note is higher end than the S series. Get the 6+ if you need the extra screen real estate and longer battery life. The rest of the specs (including OIS) do not make a significant difference in term of real-world usage.

I've been on the fence too, and it was the reason I didnt preorder. I decided I was going to go get a 6, went back to the apple store, and I really like how much easer it is to read emails on the plus. It fits in my jeans with no problem so I'm getting a plus

You're a ****ing idiot for posting this. I hope you're trolling, but I honestly doubt it. I hope you don't kill anyone else while you're texting and driving and only yourself.

It was actually my sarcastic nature making a dig at people who text while driving more than trolling. Can't say I would not have responded in the exact same way you did though.

Weeks before the pre-launch I was convinced I would just get the 6 but then I did the template cutout and realized the 6 wasn't much bigger than the 5. The template for the 6plus also made me realize that it does indeed fit in a front shirt pocket (though it sticks out the top) and front pants pocket (though will remove it when sitting and place it back in front shirt pocket or someplace else).

I really felt I would have 6plus screen envy if I had went with the 6 and I rarely use my phone to talk on, rather I use it a lot for web browsing, books, email and messaging so I thought the 6 plus would make those things easier.

Having it since launch day I have to say that yes the size can be a bit more of a hassle as I pay more attention to being careful with it vs. just throwing my old 5 in my pocket and forgetting about it but I'm in awe when I look at the 6pluses screen and really enjoy using the phone. Now I really can leave my iPad at home as the 5.5 screen is just big enough to be comfortable for my uses. Using a car mount it is much nicer for navigation than the smaller screen.

A lot of factors to weigh and everyone has different expectations out of a phone, not a one-size fits all anymore.

I got the 6 plus. I have mixed feelings about it.

I got it because I wanted to 'go for it' when it came to getting the most Apple had to offer with a phone (biggest screen, biggest battery, best camera), but I also miss being able to do everything easily with one hand. The 6 would have been fine for one hand, I think. The plus forces me to adjust.

I only just got my preorder yesterday, so it's all still very new to me. I still miss being all one handed, yet I have to admit that already today I'm starting to adjust and get used to it.

Time will tell for me.

gimmick ...
