how to fix push notifications on unlocked iphone 3g?

Hi MaxBurn, sorry idk where to get an Ipad sim and why would i use that anyways, i'm using my iphone for tmobile lol
 
You only need to borrow an ATT SIM for a couple of minutes to get activation done. Find a friend with any ATT phone or 3G ipad? ipad is microSIM though, will need the adapter. Can buy a used sim too I bet. Edit, yeah $3 on ebay.
 
the sim he is using should be fine. any active or inactive at&t sim will activate the iPhone. you will only need to activate the phone after you reinstall the firmware. then you will jailbreak it. then you unlock it. then go into cydia and search for T~Mobile under the sections tab. install the T~Mobile settings for the USA not the international. leimobile has a good repo when it comes back up (they got hacked!) that will enable you to send mms messages as well.

maybe i'll use my friend's if mine doesnt work with a newer redsn0w

ok i will go try that right now and inform of you about it later! and did you get my pm? not sure if i sent it right

it doesn't work when i jailbreak with the latest redsn0w

well i am just frustrated because it's not working, and i have been trying to figure it out on my own because it's not my fault you aren't even specific in your instructions, i'm new to this whole jailbreaking thing and all you are saying is do this and that.
