I've also been using that product on my various iPhones for a few years, and occasionally on my iMac as well. Good quality stuff and never had an issue, though it must be said I always have a screen protector on my phone.

The removal of thin anti-glare coating problem is only in MacBook pros (2013-2018 (especially 2013-2015)) not in iPads or iPhones etc.

Ahh, thanks I missed that in the posts. Makes sense as you're not "supposed" to touch Macbook pro screens.

As an aside, some of my colleagues and friends with laptops put a piece of paper on top of the keyboard when they close the computer to protect the screen.
