It does work great. Although I initially only installed it for the NC weather widget, the other iphone stock apps (calculator, voice memos, and compass) look pretty good with retinapad installed. Stocks is already iPad res.

Once the above tweak is installed, and you press and hold an app the new apps wiggle and have the delete 'X' next to them, can these be deleted separately? And will they go I have no use for the memo and only minor use for the compass that I could do without but don't want to compromise the tweak by deleting them.

Just hide them with SBsettings. I have no clue what happens if you try and delete them.

Ehhh you will probably delete them if you try to delete them...

They are just apps

I tried deleting them by clicking on the X. They will disappear until the next time you respring or restart your device, at which point will be reappear.

There is a way to get it on there, i've sort of figured it out with some help from other people and i posted a guide that will help

I also have a fix for the native weather app on the iphone, which i will post later

I followed this process, and everything works great. my only problem is that the weather app doesnt install. i get a message on my ipad saying it failed. what do i do?

Yes it will, BUT, the icon is only iPhone size so you can instantly tell there is something wrong, also I couldn't get it to update on its own, I had to respring to get the icon to update and I've a 3G ipad so I expected it to work automatically.
