Rather disappointed that the earliest MBP it runs on is mid-2012.

I have the very last MBP 17" model - the extra screen real estate is _so useful… unfortunately it's late 2011, after which it was discontinued, really wish they hadn't done that

Actually, to test Mojave within VirtualBox, I found https://github.com/AlexanderWillner/runMacOSinVirtualBox to be very handy. It sets up everything automatically within a few minutes.

I've said it before here, it's by far the best beta OS release since it's inception about 2 decades ago.

I'll take your word for it and try it tonight. I've been wondering for weeks now if trying it ou would be a good thing.
