I call this the iPhone's new "Tinder Profile Verification" feature.

If you can’t tell without measuring then what’s the difference?

i can see it being a fun gimmick feature with american units, but i’m sure it’s gonna be way off in metric units, lidar is very low quality to be exact to 1 cm

I tried it, but I couldn’t get it to work. It just kept telling me to move further away or closer. Tried different lighting and backgrounds, nothing.

Im getting a 12 mini so Im curious as I will not be getting this feature...

A few girls' bios say "you must be 6' tall" even if they're much shorter. Only a few but enough to be a meme. It can go the other way too, girls who are 6' saying they're 5'11.
