How to Pair a DualShock 4 or Xbox Wireless Controller With iPhone and Apple TV

Has anyone successfully paired a PS4 controller to an iPad Pro 11 (2018)?

My controller flashes to connect and is recognised in iPadOS 13.4, but only flashes Red once whilst displaying Connected on iPadOS before displaying Not Connected and a pop-up informing me that the pairing was not successful.

I am stuck. Any suggestions?

Yep, I've gamed a lot on mine. Did you hold down the PS button and the share button at the same time before pairing the controller?

I managed to get mine connected. Just needed to restart my iPad.

Excellent. Whenever I pair the controller with my PS4 again what I do when I want to use it on the iPad again is go into bluetooth settings and delete it. Then I hold down the PS button and share button until the back flashes white and start pairing again.
