How to print with 4.2

I downloaded program, now Ipad sees de printer, but ask me for pasword, my computer does not have any pasword enabled, now what shuld I do?

I seem to remember this is something to do with guest accounts. Try enabling the guest account and see if that works.

I don't get it. If 3rd party companies can offer Printopia and Printershare that enables wifi printing seamlessly for all printers, why is it rocket science for Apple to not figure this out for Air Print?

Because Printopia runs on your mac and proxies the print command between the ipad and the printer. Printopia is pretending to be a compatible Air Printer and your computer has to be running in order for your ipad to print.

If you had a compatible printer, the ipad would print directly to it, without your computer being powered on and running Printopia.
