How to prove I had a dedicated graphics card

Ok well in a few hours I'm heading out to BB with my evidence I'll report back with what happens.

Glad it worked out!
The SR MBP had 8600M GT which is running circles around the low end MBPs 9400M (my brother has a 13 inch with 9400, so I've actually seen the difference, and it's huge in some tasks).

If you got a midrange MBP with 9600M GT and 2.66Ghz CPU, then you'll actually got a nice upgrade overall :D

This interested me so much I just signed up to post.

So can you give a summary of what you had... what you were offered... and what you got?

I had a similar experience with Best Buy.
 
@Amnak - congrats. Glad you got the result you wanted :)

I personally loathe integrated graphics cards (although I use the one in my U-MBP all the time, rarely turning the discrete card on).

@iBookG4user - yeah, I had figured as much :).

Sure thing. I had an 07 15in MBP with a 2.2ghz processor, matte screen, 8600gt dedicated graphics card.
Offered: 09 15in MBP with 2.53 processor, glossy screen, 9400m integrated graphics.
getting: 09 15in MBP with 2.66 processor, glossy screen, 9600gt dedicated graphics.
It comes on Thursday to best buy but if apple happens to drop the new ones tomorrow I won't complain. :)
