Had 2 to do. The floss, combined with old credit card, flat tipped screw-driver, WD40 and kitchen roll worked a treat. About 5 mins to get the first one off smooth case, 2 minutes to remove from Otterbox case. Thanks - saved £40+ in order to replace like-for-like. All knowledge is on the web. Thanks again, Folks.

Tried a lot of the above, What worked best was taking a sewing needle and gently tapping it about 1 cm under magnet. That lifted the edge enough for a flat head screwdriver to slide under and pry it off. (When the glue gave, the magnet popped into the air, but the needle stayed stuck to the magnet.) did not damage the phone surface
