I will never, ever understand why PDFs continue to be based on outdated notions of printing and outputting. I do not want a multi-page PDF of a web page. I want a single PDF page. I’m not going to print the thing, and I want it to crop it at my choosing.

Just save as JPG then.

Wow! Just updated to iOS13 and used this hint.
It even works with watchOS 6, my Apple Watch 5 and Apple Car.

Case study in missing the point entirely.

Is that true? This clearly looks like a multi-page PDF.
Single page PDF, whether it is displayed in Files app or Adobe Acrobat Reader.

For those who have loaded the beta version of 13, I have two questions. First, is the PDF conversion stored as an individual file in Files? Second, is this local storage? My consuming need is for the iPad Files App to have true local storage, so I'm not tied to the cloud to access documents stored in Files.

Awesome feature. Does anyone know if something like this is possible on MacOS? ie. being able to save a web page as a 1 continuous page PDF - instead of paginated version or a long PNG/JPG etc??

okay so let me give you a nice advice how "Creating a PDF" works in almost every situation:

Webpage for example: tap on the share-button and tap on "print". Now pinch out with two fingers the preview... tadaaaa there is your PDF and you can do whatever you want.
If you do it from a clean webpage links will be adopted. If you do it from the PDF Reader mode, links will disappear...

This works everywhere where you can print... enjoy

Thanks man you Rock!! I was wondering I could easily do this from iOS 12 but I was getting a headache trying to do it now and with your simple explanation I just did it! Kudos to you! Gold!!!! Thanks 😊

It creates a single PDF page, both on iOS 12 and on iOS 13.
Despite showing multiple mini pages on iOS 13 before you complete the procedure, it creates only one long PDF page.

It seems to be something wrong in iOS and iPadOS 13 because multiple mini pages are shown during the procedure but the final PDF consists of only one page. BUT it shows 1 of xx when opened afterwards although it consists of only one page.
😯🤔😠😏

Thank you.

PDF's aren't support in Photos, so once you go into the full page PDF section of the screenshot the OS removes that option, I would imagine you can save the PDF to Files or Books.

I send to myself as a message to my phone number, but I guess you could use your email in messages as well. In the native messages app. When I really want to make sure something actually gets saved. I just saw an option where you can save things on your phone, that many people probably don't notice. The default option in saving to iPhone was to delete the file in one day. Pretty sure that's what it said. Anyway, I learned not to trust iBooks, or iCloud or Files long ago, but wanted to give a heads up.
