So if bought full price will the verizon version work on sprint? I read somewhere it did but not band 41. Can anyone confirm this or have any info on this?

I started out with 6s+. Thought it was to big. Exchanged for 6s. Still confused so purchased the 6s+ again to have both phone's to compare at the same time. Returned the 6s today.
Doing a restore after you purchase your phone doesn't take long if your interested in finding out if your phone is unlocked. Using another sim from a different carrier is a good idea.
BUT when i had my first 6s+ i used an Unactivated T-Mobile sim that i used to change the setting's in my iPhone 5 when i switched to Straight Talk from AT&T. In the 6s+ I noticed in setting's Carrier showed up right under Cellular. I tapped it and it showed Automatic and the radio button was green. I turned the button off and up popped the 4 major carrier's with AT&T checked. I then checked T-Mobile, and turned on the button to automatic. When i put back in my AT&T sim, and a box popped up update setting's so i did, and the sim worked for AT&T.
I'm thinking the phone will accept any of the major carrier's, but i don't know about any of the other's like Straight Talk? I do know when i looked up the model number's AT&T had a long list of carrier's that the phone would support, but the other's had none?
I don't know much about what's unlocked. The phone or the sim? Can anyone explain?

Yes it may be unlocked. But since its a Verizon iPhone 5 and it being cdma I think it is only GSM unlocked for international use. It will not work with GSM carriers in the United States I believe.

thats b.s.

any iPhone 5 from verizon is cdma AND GSM. you can use CDMA on verizon, remove the SIM card and use the GSM for AT&T.

As a matter of fact EVERY SINGLE PHONE that is CDMA and LTE that is sold, is also a GSM phone.
you can't have LTE without GSM, period

the only problem wth the verizon iPhone 5 and AT&T and t-mobie was the limited number of channels. they did not have LTE HIGH SPEED channels for verizon and AT&T and t-mobile in the same phone. this means if you took your verizon iPhone to AT&T, it would work , but you would only get 4G HSPDA+ speeds and not LTE speeds.

when the 5s and 5c came out, this was fixed, and that phone had 11 or 13 channels and had AT&T and verizon and t-mobile channels in the same phone

you can bring a VERIZON iPhone 5 to AT&T but you cant bring an AT&T iPhone 5 to VERIZON
